Orange High School's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) organization is dedicated to providing students with leadership opportunities through Business classes; Regional, State and National Conferences; and volunteer opportunities.
Examples of courses that Orange High School FBLA students may take include Accounting (I and II), Business Law, Multimedia and Web Page Design, Microsoft IT Academy Programs, Personal Finance, Principles of Business Finance, Entrepreneurship I and Virtual Enterprise.
Students enrolled in any of the above courses in a given year are eligible to become active members of Orange High School's FBLA. Students who have taken at least two business classes during their time at OHS are eligible for lifetime membership and are not required to take additional business courses in order to be eligible to participate in FBLA Competitions and activities. Students who are not enrolled in business classes may join as associate members but are not eligible to compete or vote. Current membership fees are $20.00 per year.
Volunteer opportunities include tutoring middle school students after school, March of Dimes fundraising, and Holiday Adopt-A-Family projects.
Benefits of FBLA include:
